Love Islands Teddy Soares and Demi Jones lead The Real Full Monty line-up

Love Island stars Teddy Soares and Demi Jones are leading the line-up of ITV’s annual The Real Full Monty.

The special show, this time called Strictly The Real Full Monty, will see Teddy, 26, and 22-year-old Demi baring all to raise awareness of cancer and how important early checks are to save lives.

The pair, who appeared separately in the famous ITV2 villa, both have touching personal reasons for getting involved in the show. And it’s a case especially close to Demi’s heart after she revealed she had been diagnosed with thyroid cancer in May.

However, Demi and Teddy aren’t the only familiar faces who have signed up for the famous Full Monty strip.

They’ll be joined by Strictly Come Dancing’s former husband and wife duo James and Ola Jordan, Blue singer Duncan James and model Christine McGuiness, who is married to TV presenter Paddy.

The class of 2021 also includes EastEnders actress Laila Morse, best known as Big Mo, Loose Women star Brenda Edwards, Olympian Colin Jackson and TV presenter Martin Roberts.

Once again, Diversity star Ashley Banjo will be choreographing the dance extravaganza and helping the brave celebs build the courage to strip off for a good cause.

And he’s promised it will be bigger and better than ever before, telling fans they can expect plenty of old school glitz and glamour.

He said: “I’m so excited to be working with a new brilliant, bold and brave line-up of celebrities for Strictly the Real Full Monty.”

Ashley continued: “It’s going to be our biggest musical dance extravaganza yet and we are determined to get the message out there that early cancer checks in intimate areas save lives.”

The 33-year-old Britain’s Got Talent star added: “So don’t forget to check your bits and baubles this Christmas!”

ITV Factual Commissioner Kate Teckman echoed Ashley’s thoughts, adding viewers will see a big twist when they tune in to the show.

She said: “This year we’re bringing our message with a bang by adding a huge dose of sequins, sparkles, sambas and salsas to the strip.”

“They’ll also be star guest performances and stunning solos so hold onto your mirror balls – this is strictly the most ambitious Full Monty yet!”
