Love Island’s Jordan ‘forced’ to instigate romance with India after bosses tell him Anna’s too ‘unpopular’ to win – The Sun

LOVE Island has been hit by a fakery row after producers encouraged two Islanders to get together.

Bosses suggested Jordan Hames, 24, should flirt with fellow model India Reynolds, 28, because they were more likely to win the show.

It will lead to him dumping pharmacist girlfriend Anna Vakili, 29, in dramatic scenes on ITV2 tonight.

A show source said: “Jordan was pushed into saying he likes India in order to cause drama after producers told him he doesn’t have a chance of winning with Anna.

“Now that Michael Griffiths has left and the ongoing tension between him and ex Amber Gill is over, they needed something explosive to happen for the final week.

“Anna is a fierce character and they knew she wasn’t going to just let it go quietly if Jordan started growing close to India, especially as they’ve only just become girlfriend and boyfriend.

“The move by producers has clearly worked but it proves this entire series is completely contrived.”

A Love Island spokesman said: “The opinions they have and the relationships formed are completely within the control of the Islanders themselves.”

In an explosive row on tonight’s episode,  Anna brands Jordan “embarrassing” for chatting to India.

He told Curtis Pritchard in a private conversation: “I feel like over the past couple of days I’ve been having good conversations with India.

“I’m finding myself looking forward to bumping into her in the villa to talk to her. It’s just made me sit back and think.”

But after Curtis told Maura Higgins, she fed the information back to Anna who then confronted Jordan.
If  Jordan and India were now to couple up, it would leave show favourite Ovie Soko single with six days until the final.
