Little Couple fans fear show's CANCELED after two year hiatus as Jen Arnold & Bill Klein battle producers in $7M lawsuit

THE Little Couple fans fear that the show has been CANCELED after no new episodes have aired in two years.

The speculation comes as stars Jen Arnold and Bill Klein battle producers in a $7million lawsuit.

Last week, Jen took to Instagram to share photos from the family’s recent vacation to Bar Harbor, Maine.

Jen, 47, and Bill, 46, posed with their family members- including kids William, 12, and Zoey, nine,- as they enjoyed all that Maine has to offer.

The Little Couple star captioned the post: “Bye Bye Bar Harbor, thank you for great time, memories & family time.”

The caption concluded with the hashtags #littlecouple, #vacation,  #bewell,  #maskup, #barharbor, #summer,  #momsofinstagram and #momlife.

'MISS YOU GUYS ON TV'

While many of Jen’s followers took to the comments section to gush over how old Zoey and William look, others asked if the family’s TLC show will return for another season.

One person wrote: “Is there another season coming out?”

Another commented: “Omg they're so big 😢 really miss you guys on TV 😢 hope you'll be back soon 🇦🇺🥰”

A third chimed in: “Oh my gosh the kids are growing up so fast! Miss your show so much!”

The questions continued as a following person wondered: “Is there another season coming out?”

An additional Instagram user asked: “Are y’all ever coming back on TV?”

Fans have been speculating that The Little Couple is not returning to TV, as the show hasn’t aired new episodes in two years.

LEGAL MATTERS

The show’s delay is likely due to the couple’s expensive lawsuit with producers.

Back in July 2020, Jen and Bill finally settled their three-year lawsuit against the reality show's producer to reclaim intellectual property rights.

The legal matter started in June 2016 when producer LMNO Cable Group sued Discovery Communications for $7 million.

In court papers obtained by The Hollywood Reporter, LMNO Cable Group claimed their accountant falsified records to hide hundreds of thousands of dollars in embezzled money.

The company claimed Discovery Communications used the situation to “steal” TLC’s The Little Couple and "put LMNO" out of business.

LMNO and Discovery Communications eventually agreed to a settlement.

JEN AND BILL GET INVOLVED

The legal battle wasn’t over, as Jen and Bill asked to intervene in the case in May 2017.

According to court papers, they believed they were “entitled to a portion of LMNO’s contingent compensation in The Little People.”

They also alleged in court papers that they felt entitled to a portion of Discovery’s “'adjusted gross revenues' from certain forms of exploitation of the Program."

Jen and Bill feared they would “lose valuable monetary and intellectual property rights which would be adjudicated without their interests being represented; nor would any of the current parties represent [Jen and Bill’s] interests adequately or at all," the court papers state.

They accused LMNO of breach of contract, fraud, unfair competition, conversion and more.

In court papers obtained by The Sun, the parties agreed to mediation and eventually reached a settlement agreement.

The court ordered the lawsuit be dismissed in light of the “successful” mediation and settlement.
