On Good Morning Britain on Monday, Kate, 53, recalled how daughter Darcy, 15, and son Billy, 11 "are over the moon and overwhelmed in equal measure" to have their dad back.

Kate compared bringing Derek home to bringing home a newborn baby.

Kate stressed: "It's been completely overwhelming but also wonderful."
