Justin Rutherford (Andrew Still) became convinced that he was meant to be with Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) in Coronation Street and, as a result, started stalking and making her life a living hell.

While Justin was sending Daisy messages all of the time and turning up at then pub and her home, he was certain his actions would eventually lead to them getting married and living a happy life.

Of course, with Daisy married to Daniel (Rob Mallard), she made things perfectly clear to Justin numerous times, pointing out that his behaviour wasn’t acceptable and they would never be together.

Following the acid attack, Justin was arrested but with the trial looming, it appears nothing will sway this evil man, as the defence barrister ends up making a horrific claim to try and stop Justin from facing time behind bars.

It’s Karen, Justin’s sister, who ends up helping, as Ryan (Ryan Prescott) works out that she was spying on him and Daisy, but they both remain unaware that she’s told Justin’s lawyer all about Daisy’s history of manipulation.

As Ryan enters the witness box, he’s forced to tell the court how Justin threw acid intending for it to be Daisy, but he jumped in front of them both and took the full force, causing indescribable pain.

As Justin takes the stand in this new video he – unsurprisingly – contradicts what Ryan says, telling everyone that he was waiting for Daisy in the pub after she had expressed her worries about the wedding.

He goes on to say that when Ryan arrived, he was holding a glass of clear liquid and attempted to throw it at Justin but he managed to defend himself, causing the acid to burn Ryan instead.

As the lies continue to be told, Ryan is sat on some steps completely horrified, fully aware that Justin’s convincing tone could be enough to mean he gets away with it.

But will he?
