Josh Duggar once tweeted about 'protecting tiny humans from pain' in anti-abortion post before his child porn arrest

JOSH Duggar once tweeted about "protecting tiny humans from pain" – years before he was arrested on child pornography years.

The disgraced Counting On alum, 33, shared the anti-abortion post back in May 2015.

Josh wrote at the time: "HR36 is about protecting tiny humans from excruciating pain, plain & simple. #theyfeelpain."

H.R. 36 refers to the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act,bill that aims to ban abortions from being performed 20 weeks or more after fertilization.

The exception would be when the pregnancy is a result of reported rape or reported incest against a minor, or is necessary to save the life of the mother.

Josh's old tweet was uncovered on Reddit by a user who said the post had "aged poorly on so many levels".

Another added: "Shows how easy it is to put on a fake persona. Disturbing."

Josh, the oldest child of Jim Bob and Michelle, was arrested and charged with possessing and receiving child pornography in April.

The TV personality pleaded not guilty to the two child pornography counts, and has requested that the court postpone his July trial date “in or after February 2022.”

The trial has been reset to November 30 and has the potential to last until December 3.

Josh and Anna appeared in Arkansas court on Monday for a hearing regarding a series of motions, including his request to dismiss the case entirely.

However, The Sun exclusively revealed earlier this week that the judge “denied” his request to throw out the case.

They were pictured after the hearing earlier this week for the first time since his arrest.

ANNA'S 'SMIRK'

Anna – who has six children with Josh – was accused of "smirking" as she left the court with her partner.

The Sun exclusively revealed that she "is convinced Josh will soon be free and able to raise his kids".

A source has since told The Sun exclusively that Anna is "extremely confident" her husband will not be jailed – and hopes he will be able to be present at the birth of their seventh child in coming weeks.

"Anna is convinced Josh will be a free man soon and be able to raise their kids, she should be worried she's going to be alone with seven children, but she isn't," they said.

STANDING BY HIM

"She also doesn't seem to care what anyone says, or if people think she's crazy, Anna is standing by Josh.

"The family are so religious they are told it's a sin to lie, so Anna believes everything Josh says. The longer it drags on the more convinced she is this will all blow over."

Josh is currently on home confinement until his trial in November and is living with third party custodians LaCount and Maria Reber, who are longtime friends of the Duggar family.

He has unlimited access to his children with Anna present.
