Gok Wan hints that he misses Eamonn Holmes on This Morning after star quit ITV | The Sun

GOK Wan has hinted that he misses Eamonn Holmes on the set of This Morning.

The former Breakfast TV anchor previously quit ITV after he and wife Ruth Langsford were replaced by Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary.

Gok, 48, made his debut on This Morning in 2014 as one of the resident fashion experts as well as filling in as a stand-in presenter.

The show is currently presented by Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield every Monday through Thursday,

However, Eamonn and Ruth presented the Friday edition of the show plus the school holidays.

But now Gok opened up on his feelings on set after Eamonn shockingly quit the programme following 15 years on the show.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun, when asked specifically if he missed Eamonn on the show, Gok said: "Oh, I love all the [This Morning] family, I love all the family."

Eamonn left the long running daytime chat show after he came under fire in 2020.

The host caused uproar after he suggested there could be a link between 5G masts and the spread of killer disease coronavirus.

Ofcom received over 400 complaints after Eamonn said that he believes there could be something to the claims linking 5G and coronavirus.

The host later clarified that he doesn't believe the theory that 5G has caused coronavirus is valid, and was simply "looking for answers", but his comments reportedly infuriated ITV bosses.

Eamonn has since been dealing with chronic back pain which forced him to undergo an operation last October.

He later revealed just two weeks into his recovery from the op he fell down the stairs at the Weybridge home and slammed into the stone floor.

Elsewhere, the fashion consultant lavished praise on the frocks he has been seeing on the red carpet across award season.

Speaking to The Sun, he claimed: "I'm loving all of it. I love the fact that this season, everyone's kind of gone to town.

"We're seeing a lot of Avant Garde, you know, I loved Lizzo's outfit of the Brits. I love that huge pink thing around her head. It was absolutely stunning."

He added: "I love it when it feels adventurous. And that's kind of what I'm going for."
