Gemma Owens family hire PR team to boost teens career after Love Island

Gemma Owen has been signed up with a PR agency to boost her career when she leaves the Love Island villa.

The 19-year-old daughter of sports star Michael Owen is being repped by a specialist PR agency which also looks after a selection of more famous former Islanders.

The team will work to boost Gemma's profile even before she leaves the villa.

On her Instagram bio, the teen states that she is “exclusively managed” by the agency Off Limits Entertainment. The agency already advises some of Love Island’s most successful stars including Maura, Shaughna Phillips, 28, Chris Hughes, 29, Georgia Steel, 24, and former finalist Maura Higgins, 31.

Fans were left surprised on Wednesday night’s episode when Gemma went on a date with Italian newcomer Davide Sanclimenti and spoke about their plans for marriage and kids.

Showing off his open personality and Italian romantic roots, Davide asked: “Do you want to get married? Have you ever thought about it?”

“Yeah definitely," the brunette beauty replied, as the couple enjoyed a date where they made fresh lemonade together.

"I’d like to get married and I want to have kids.”

Asked how many children she'd ideally like to have in the future, Gemma said that four would be the ideal number.

As the pair enjoyed their first one-to-one trip out of the villa, Davide then proceeded to check whether Gemma was still feeling certain about her feelings.

“I was sure about my decision. What about you?” he asked.

Reflecting on her former partner, Gemma admitted: “With Liam I’ve told him that I’ll still have chats with him and get to know him a bit more.

"I also told him I have more of an initial attraction to you than I do for him," she says honestly. "I do think you’re a nice genuine guy.”

It comes after Gemma’s dad Michael Owen was left red-faced after being asked about his daughter’s appearance on Love Island during a TV show.

The former footballer, 42, appeared on Channel 4 for the Live UEFA Nations League in Germany while working as a pundit and it wasn't long until talk turned to Gemma after she made her debut in the villa on Monday night.

At the beginning of their Nations League fixture, presenter Jules Breach said: "The father of Love Island’s Gemma Owen, Michael Owen here with us, a big night for the Owens last night, Michael, how are you feeling today?"

To which Michael put his hands over his face before replying: "Jules, I came all the way to Germany to try and avoid all that back at home, but you've brought it up straight away."

He added: "I am feeling alright thank you. This is taking my mind off it so don’t bring it back up."
