Emmerdale viewers have urged Leyla Cavanagh to call the police after she received threatening information which could leave Suzy Merton's life in serious danger.
The tension was escalating on Tuesday night's show (March 14) as an injured Suzy tried her best to recover in hospital after being attacked by a brick the night before.
As police claimed they received no evidence regarding the attack, Lelya later receives a text message from Callum which read: "R.I.P Suzy."
With the information in her hand, viewers thought it was best to inform the police but quickly became disappointed when she appeared to be doing the opposite.
Jumping onto to Twitter, disgruntled fans shared their thoughts.
One viewer said: "Leyla has evidence of Callum’s threats on her phone which she could show the police. Oh hang on, this is a soap isn’t it so common sense doesn’t apply."
Another penned: "So Suzie can identify Pablo Escobar & Layla has those messages on her phone, does she go to the police? No, she wants to meet him at the bridge!! This a pile of w**k."
