    CORONATION STREET STAR TO RELEASE WEIGHT-LOSS DOCUMENTARY

    Colson Smith, who played Craig Tinker for a decade, has opened up about his new project – a documentary about his weight loss journey.

    He said he was inspired to create the documentary after fans shared their own stories about their bodies and weight loss journeys.

    'Bored of Being the Fat Kid' has been directed by one of Corrie's directors Tim Royal and Colson is being interviewed by co-star Ben Price.

    The documentary is set to release on June 2 on the actor's YouTube channel.

    JAC JOSSA SHARES HILARIOUS SNAP OF HER YOUNGEST DAUGHTER

    Jacqueline Jossa shared an adorable snap of her youngest daughter Mia that left fans rolling with laughter.

    The mum-of-two shared the photo on her Instagram which showed Mia wearing a fuchsia pink dress with 'sassy pants' written on it, as she went to help herself to a jar of peanut butter.

    Jacqueline captioned the image she shared with her 3.2million followers: "I thought she was quiet…"

    Paul Robinson hatches a nasty plan to keep his granddaughter Harlow apart from Brent Colefax.

    Paul, Ramsay Street's baddie, has never been a fan of Brent and believes that he isn't suitable for Harlow.

    In next week's episodes on Channel 5, Brent (Texas Watterston) remains on remand after being arrested for the recent robbery incident at The Hive.

    Brent is grateful that he has Toadie Rebecchi working on his case after Paul generously hired the lawyer.

    EASTENDERS: GRAY ATKINS TO GET HIS COMEUPPANCE

    Jessica Plummer has reassured fans that Gray Atkins, played by Toby Alexander-Smith will meet his maker in EastEnders.

    She says she hopes that the ending will satisfy fans, but says she's as much in the dark about the storyline and how exactly it will play out.

    She told Metro: "I think the fact that it’s even a conversation shows how incredible and invested EastEnders fans are.

    "At the time when we shot Chantelle dying, it was necessary and relevant and we achieved raising awareness at that point. EastEnders is a fictional show – the things that happen are sometimes reflective of reality and other times it goes beyond reality."

    HOME AND AWAY: MACKENZIE HITS THE SELF DESTRUCT BUTTON

    Home and Away's Mackenzie Booth loses the support of her friend and housemate Ziggy Astoni next week.

    Mackenzie has been living with Ziggy at the farmhouse but she's about to destroy their friendship by making a move on Tane Parata.

    This comes after viewers have watched her struggle to cope with losing her baby.

    Upcoming episodes on Channel 5 will see Mac's struggle with alcohol abuse when she gets drunk and turns up at Tane's house.

    COLSON SMITH'S WEIGHT TROLLING PART 2

    The actor continued: “I was being branded as just the fat kid from day one. Even at school I was always the fat kid, I was always the odd one out.”

    And when he moved out of home at 17 to move to Manchester full-time, his weight spiralled.

    Colson explains: “I left my parents at 17 to live in Manchester, which was away from home and when everyone else was at uni, and they were having uni food, I'm sat on Deliveroo every night. 

    “I got myself into a really unhealthy position. Food was a self harm to me like that, it was my comfort, and I didn't realise how much damage I was doing to myself with it.”

    He adds: “I had a very bad relationship with food. It was negative, it was bingey. 

    “It was probably a disorder, you know, it was self harm.”

    It’s the first time Colson has opened up about losing the weight – after previously joking that he got food poisoning on holiday and lost ten stone.

    CORRIE STAR COLSON SMITH SPEAKS OUT OVER WEIGHT TROLLING

    Coronation Street star Colson Smith has admitted he was self-harming with food after being abused for his weight by viewers at just 11 years old.

    The actor – who plays policeman Craig Tinker in the ITV soap – has lost a huge amount of weight by changing his lifestyle.

    And while he won’t be drawn on exactly how much he has dropped – he is clear that he was abusing his body with food after years of being branded “the fat kid”.

    Speaking about his new documentary Bored of Being the Fat Kid, Colson told The Sun how he was faced with abuse for his weight by soap fans at just 11.

    He said: “At 11 years old I had a Twitter account. 

    “You log in, you search your name, you search ‘Craig Corrie’ and you’re looking to see what people are saying about your character or your acting, and all they’re saying is about your weight and the way you look.

    EASTENDERS fans are worried for Sonia Fowler as they don’t trust her father Terry Cant, AKA Rocky, who arrived in Walford to find her.

    Brian Conley recently joined the BBC soap and made his debut in last night’s episode.

    Sonia has been searching for her long-lost father as she admitted she sent Terry a letter during lockdown.

    Terry began getting to know the family during drinks at the Queen Vic pub in Thursday visit to Albert Square.

    He bumped into Jack Branning who he remembered when he was just 13-years-old.

    However, Sonia questioned where Terry has been for the past 35 years and told him he couldn’t pick up where he left off.

    CORONATION Street’s Emma Brooker begins a new romance storyline next week as a handsome new trainee doctor sweeps her off her feet.

    It was revealed at the end of 2020 that unlucky-in-love Emma – who is played by Alexandra Mardell – is set to get the man of her dreams in a huge new storyline.

    It comes after her ex Seb met a tragic end after he and his goth girlfriend Nina Lucas were targeted in a brutal and unprovoked hate crime attack.

    Next week, Emma is delighted when a good looking young man, Curtis, offers to help her move some barrels into the cellar.

    Instead the barrister read out the emotional words, and the judge took it into account.

    Jenny succumbed to temptation and slept with Ronnie – who has been staying under Jenny’s roof as her B&B guest – this week in the ITV soap, cheating on her husband Johnny.

    When Johnny and Jenny spot Sharon and Ronnie sharing a table at the bistro, Johnny mentions that he recognises her from prison but has no recollection of the mentoring scheme she reckons she is part of.

    Jenny asks Gary to find out what he can about Harvey and is shocked to discover that Sharon is his aunt.

    But when Jenny tries to use the information to her advantage, Sharon tells Jenny that she knows what’s going on between her and Ronnie – and that she better watch her back.

    EMMERDALE star and white witch Sam Giles turned ghostbuster to get rid of ghoul from a co-star’s house.

    The actress, who plays Bernice Blackstock in the ITV soap, practices Wicca, a form of witchcraft, and even sells spells and potions.

    So when co-star Nicola Wheeler felt an evil presence in her Yorkshire home, she called in Sam to help cleanse her house.

    Sam, 49, says she felt a "stale energy" and her presence sent it packing into the house next door, owned by podcaster and former Emmerdale director Lee Salisbury. 

    The spirit ended up in his bathroom and sparked several leaks, which mysteriously stopped after Sam advised him on how to send the ghost packing.

    STEVE McDonald heads on a downward spiral as he becomes obsessed with his late son Oliver's fundraising next week in Coronation Street.

    Steve’s world came crashing down when his Oliver passed away from an incurable form of mitochondrial disease earlier this year.

    The parents then turned to raising money for their late son’s fund. 

    But next week, Steve is reeling after his charity fundraiser didn’t go the way he had hoped. 

    Later, he locks horns with Emma Brooker’s new love interest, Curtis, when he realises he is the hooligan who knocked him off his bike and caused him to come last in the fundraiser. 

    When Amy gets wind of Steve’s aggressive behaviour towards Curtis, she tells him he’s becoming too obsessed with his fundraising and that she’s worried he’s heading for another breakdown.

    EMMERDALE fans are heartbroken for Liv Flaherty as she hit rock bottom and called her mum begging for help.

    The alcoholic – who is played by actress Isobel Steele in the ITV soap – fled the village after relapsing this week.

    On Friday Chas told Paddy she hoped she has got through to Liv.

    It was revealed that Liv went to the airport, but where is she headed to?

    Before she could get on the plane, she was stopped by one of the staff.

    He had spotted Liv throwing up on the tarmac and realised just how drunk she was.

    As he went to get her a cup of coffee, Liv called her mum and said as her voice cracked: "“Mum, it’s me. I need you.”

    Peter has damaged his liver after years of battling with alcoholism and needs a transplant to survive.

    Daniel will suggest to Adam that they should offer themselves up as liver donors for Peter. 

    Adam is reluctant, but will he turn down an opportunity to save Peter’s life?

    Bernice moved to Australia back in November 2019 to look after her ex Charlie who’d been in a horror accident – and called off her wedding to fiance Liam.

    Liam has since got engaged to Leyla, but next week he’s rocked to the core when he spots Bernice in the village.

    Later, Liam panics and manages to convince Leyla they should marry sooner than expected after her dream venue becomes available.

    EVELYN Plummer suffers a horror fall as she takes revenge on Dev and Bernie next week in Coronation Street. 

    Evelyn returned to the cobbles earlier this month as actress Maureen Lipman reprised her role in the soap following the tragic passing of her partner of 13 years, Guido Castro.

    Next week, Evelyn is back to her old tricks as she sticks her nose into Dev’s business when she overhears him saying he’ll fork out for new coffee cups for Alina’s flat. 

    Later, Evelyn is shocked to find Bernie working in the shop and even more angry when she slips and falls on some split salad dressing. 

    Clutching her injured foot in pain, she threatens to sue Dev and Bernie for criminal negligence.

    KIM Tate prepares for war as Jai Sharma and Al Chapman mutiny at the HOP next week in Emmerdale.

    The Queen of Home Farm – who is played by Claire King in the ITV soap – is being poisoned by a mystery villager and has been suffering from blackouts and dizzy spells.

    Next week, Kim becomes increasingly delirious as the mystery perpetrator continues to slip poison into her brandy.

    Kim is unsettled further when Al and Jai mutiny against her at the HOP. 

    Viewers will then see Kim sitting alone and drinking her brandy as she hears phantom intruders and reaches for a shotgun.

    When Kim comes face to face with the intruder she fires her gun, but who does she shoot?

     Cathy Matthews’ hoarding spirals out of control leaving Yasmeen Nazir with a tough choice

    CORONATION Street revisits Cathy Matthews’ compulsive hoarding next week as Yasmeen Nazir is forced to make a tough decision.

    Cathy – who is played by Melanie Hill – sought refuge with Yasmeen and Eileen after receiving abuse for trolling Steve and Tracy and accusing them of stealing from Oliver’s fundraising page. 

    But next week, Yasmeen confides in Alya that the house is starting to feel crowded and that she longs for some peace and quiet. 

    Matters are made worse when Elaine and Cathy spot a mouse running around. 

    Elaine loses it and blames Cathy and her slovenly ways for enticing vermin into the home. 

    Cathy runs upstairs in tears as Yasmeen decides to call pest control.

    Suki makes a dramatic return next week and asks Phil for a loan for reasons she’s not willing to divulge, but he refuses to give her one.

    When Kheerat discovers she’s been contacting Stas behind his back, he’s annoyed but Suki explains that Jags has got himself into trouble in prison.
