Dani Dyer’s boyfriend Sammy Kimmence faces jail after admitting scamming two pensioners out of £34,000

DANI Dyer’s boyfriend Sammy Kimmence is facing jail after pleading guilty to scamming two pensioners out of £34k.

The TV star's partner appeared at Portsmouth Crown Court today to admit posing as a financial investor.

He admitted posing as a financial investor to scam two pensioners out of £34,000.

Kimmence, 25, duped Peter Martin, 90, and Peter Haynes, 80, after persuading the vulnerable pensioners to allow him to invest their money for them.

His victims were said to have been clients at a legitimate investment company where Kimmence previously worked.

Portsmouth Crown Court heard Kimmence took the clients on when the business stopped operating, falsely claiming he was authorised to provide financial services.

Now Kimmence, who pleaded not guilty to all the charges last week, faces a possible prison sentence after a last minute change of plea this morning.

The judge warned him his offences were so serious they crossed the custody threshold and he could be sent to jail.

Kimmence, from Essex, pleaded guilty to five counts of fraud, totalling £33,919.

Standing in the dock dressed in a black suit with a blue tie, he spoke only to confirm his name and plead guilty to each charge.

The court heard Kimmence, used one of his victims' bank cards to withdraw more than £1,200 for himself and also racked up credit card charges of more than £1,300.

He also admitted to getting Mr Martin to transfer him £22,912 on one occasion, and £400 on another. He conned Mr Haynes in a similar way out of £7,927.

Mr Martin died in November last year aged 91, while Mr Haynes suffers from Alzheimer's.

Defending, Craig Harris asked for a pre-sentence report to be made and said: "There is a lot that has happened in this young man’s life in the past four or five years that would mitigate his sentence."

He added: "[Kimmence] is seeking to reimburse the losses he caused so some time is also needed to allow him to do that."

Earlier this year the Love Island star welcomed a son with Kimmence.

He is a 24-year-old stockbroker and amateur footballer from Essex – he plays for Barkingside FC.

Dani, 24, who is the daughter of EastEnders actor Danny Dyer, is engaged to him.

Announcing the birth, She said: "After a very long day and night finally our special little boy arrived 23/01/2021 … Weighing 7 pound.

"We are in a complete baby bubble and enjoying every moment, can not believe he is ours, completely in love and so grateful to be his mummy..

"Sending all my love to all the other mommas to be out there in lockdown.. the best experience ever will never forget this day."

Before Dani went into the Love Island villa, they'd had a relationship that ended in a series of rows.

Once she left the villa and her romance with Jack Fincham came to an end, they rekindled their romance.

On April 23, 2019, The Sun exclusively revealed the pair had rekindled their romance after being spotted embracing in public.
