Corrie fans joke Todd will ‘steal liver from undertakers’ to save Peter’s life

Coronation Street character Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) could be set to receive a major lifeline from Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) – or at least, that's what viewers are thinking.

Peter was told he could be set to get a liver transplant which would save his life, though he had to make it clear he had no intentions of returning to booze and wasting the life-saving procedure.

And viewers have suggested Todd, who now works at the undertakers, could be set to bump Peter to the top of the transplant list by stealing a liver from his work.

Taking to Twitter, they shared their theories – even if they were a little dark.

"Maybe Todd could nick him a liver?" one Corrie fan wrote.

Another said: "Peter needs a liver transplant, Todd works at the undertakes – Todd's new business venture illegal organ selling."

And someone else joked: "Ah you've b*****ed your liver. It's ok, our mate Todd will do you a great deal."
