Britney Spears' dad Jamie claims personal conservator told him singer is 'mentally sick' and 'needs psychiatric hold’

Britney Spears' dad Jamie claims personal conservator told him singer is 'mentally sick' and 'needs psychiatric hold’

BRITNEY Spears’ dad Jamie claimed she’s so “mentally sick” that her personal conservator considered putting her under a psychiatric hold.

He alleged in new documents that conservator Jodi Montgomery called him in July sounding “very distraught” over Britney’s mental health.

According to Jamie, in docs obtained by TMZ, Jodi told him the singer wasn’t "timely or properly taking her medications, was not listening to the recommendations of her medical team.”

Britney also allegedly “refused to even see some of her doctors."

During the alleged July 9 call, Jodi was worried about the 39-year-old's recent behavior and asked Jamie for help, though he said he was unable to do so.

He claimed he told her that he's no longer privy to her medical information, leading Jodi to question if putting Britney under a 5150 psychiatric hold would then be the best option.

A few days later, according to Jamie, she changed her mind and sent him an email saying a hold would not be needed.

These claims come after the superstar's new attorney Mathew Rosengart filed legal docs on Thursday asking the judge to move up the hearing date to remove Jamie from late September to August.

Mathew's most recent request demanded Judge Penny move the September 29 hearing up to August 23, 2021.

According to the docs, that date is the "soonest" available court date on the calendar.

In his own filings, Jamie objected to moving the date up.

The documents also alleged that Jamie, 69, has requested $1.4 million from just the course of the past several months to cover his legal fees.

The pop star's legal team concluded in the docs: "Good cause exists to grant this Application because Ms. Spears continues to suffer ongoing harm each day that Mr. Spears remains in place as the Conservator of the Estate—emotionally, psychologically, and financially."

Jamie fired back in his own filed paperwork, saying the allegations in Mathew's docs were "unsubstantiated, vague accusations."

He added that his "sole motivation has been his unconditional love for his daughter and a fierce desire to protect her from those trying to take advantage of her."

Continuing, Jamie said he also never denied Britney from going to Hawaii, as previously claimed.

Britney’s dad shot back some more to say he brought the singer’s estate out of major debt and into prosperity, adding he ”dutifully and faithfully served as the Conservator of his daughter's Estate without any blemishes on his record."

Soon after he was hired, Mathew filed papers that request Britney's father be replaced as soon as possible by high-profile CPA, Jason Rubin, as conservator of her multi-million dollar estate.

Britney recently freaked out over owning an iPad for the first time ever, after claiming she “couldn’t buy anything” under her conservatorship.

Britney explained she was out working in the yard before she went inside her house to find that her new iPad had arrived.

She told her followers: “I am so excited! My kids have owned one. I have never owned one. This is just a groundbreaking day.

“I’ve always had a little phone, but now this iPad is in my hands and I feel like my life is changing as we speak and I am so excited.”
