Gethin Jones has revealed the sweet ritual he has with his Morning Live co-host Kym Marsh – and he's "in trouble" if he forgets to do it before a show.
Corrie star Kym and Gethin have hosted BBC's Morning Live together ever since it first aired back in 2020, and it's clear they've developed a close bond during their time in the studio.
Gethin, 45, spoke to Daily Star ahead of his Red Nose Day dancing challenge that saw him attempt 24 hours of dancing in the Morning Live Studio from Thursday (March 16) until Red Nose Day on Friday.

He raised funds for Comic Relief and is joined by a host of Strictly Come Dancing stars including judge Shirley Ballas, hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman and a bunch of show pros.
Spilling behind-the-scenes secrets, Gethin explained that each of his Morning Live co-hosts have different quirks, including Sam Quek, Kym and Kimberly Walsh.
And it seems Kym likes a bit of affection before going live to the nation as he said: "Gethin likes a hug. I have to give her a little hug."
The Welsh star went on: "Sara Cox, you have to fist-bump her and look in her eye and say ‘Good luck’. Sam [Quek] likes a really subtle side fist-bump."
But former Girls Aloud singer Kimberly might have the quirkiest habit as he revealed: "Kimberly does a little nose snort."
Gethin must remember the rituals otherwise he could be in for a grilling, because he added: "They’ve all got their little intricacies. If I don’t remember those, I’m in trouble!"
On his own rituals, Gethin admitted: "I’m quite chilled about it, really. As long as I have a coffee in the morning."
Asked whether he'd ever take a job at BBC Breakfast, which airs just before Morning Live on BBC One, Gethin admitted he couldn't do it.

He said: "Oh my god, no! To do what they do is a masterclass. It's a completely different skill in that respect. I watch it every morning and I'm just in awe of how they do it.
"What I really enjoy with Morning Live is like, you see the news for three hours in the morning, and Morning Live to me is a show that tells you what that news means to you, and what you need to do to make it different."
Gethin's dancing challenge is a supersized version of Morning Live's Strictly Fitness segment which sees him complete one-minute routines.
