During Wednesday’s This Morning, ITV hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary spoke with The Only Way is Essex star Joey Essex about his new documentary. The one-off special titled Joey Essex: Grief and Me will see the reality star opening up about losing his mum at 10-years-old. Joey has rarely spoken about his mother’s death until now, although with the help of a clinical psychologist, the 30-year-old was finally able to face the impact losing his mum has had on him.
Throughout the interview, Joey appeared to get emotional when discussing the details with Alison and Dermot.
However, this led to Alison opening up about her own experience with grief and the host broke down in tears as she recalled what it was like losing her own mother.
