Meghan and Harry ‘lost fans’ by ‘depriving’ them of Lilibet pics, Lady C claims

Royal commentator Lady Colin Campbell has claimed that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have lost supporters by not yet publishing pictures of their daughter Lilibet.

The couple’s youngest child was born at the start of June and there is yet to be an announcement of her christening, or any sign of photos being released to the public.

Recently, one commentator predicted that Harry and Meghan may hold a small ceremony in the US, only announcing the occasion after it has happened.

And, speaking exclusively to Daily Star, Lady C suggested that the couple had been advised not to return to the UK for Lilibet's christening.

Now, speaking on her YouTube channel, the royal commentator has questioned the pair’s private approach to their children and has even claimed it might be hindering their popularity.

“Harry and Meghan have lost the affection and respect of a vast percentage of their former supporters by ‘depriving’ us of pictures of their children,” she claimed.

“The children are complete strangers to the public. The public can’t have affection for people they have not even seen a picture of.

“They are just ideas, they are not even actualities, in terms of public figures. Why would people care?”

Pictures of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s eldest child Archie, who is now two years old, were released when he was christened in a royal ceremony in Windsor in July 2019.

However, with no sign of an announcement regarding Lilibet, Lady C criticised Harry and Meghan’s supposedly different approach.

“People like people they like. They’re not interested in being manipulated or drip-fed pap about their public figures. And they make up their minds whether they like you or not. It’s as simple as that.

“How can they like people they don’t ever get to know?

“So I think the whole thing is an ill-conceived notion.
