Little Mixs Leigh-Anne Pinnock speaks out on twin baby names for first time

Leigh-Anne Pinnock has explained the reason behind keeping the names of her twin babies a secret.

The Little Mix singer, 30, gave birth to her adorable tots back in August last year with her loving fiancé Andre Gray.

Since the birth of their children, the doting parents have decided to keep the names and the genders of their children a secret despite the fact that the dynamic duo feature heavily on their social media.

Although the songstress and her footballer partner, also 30, enjoy sharing family snaps with their little ones online, the pair always hide their faces with an emoji to maintain their anonymity online.

Now, the starlet has confessed the main reason she hasn’t shared this information with her 8.5million followers on social media is because of her concerns about the impact public attention would have on their infants.

Speaking to The Sun ahead of the Little Mix’s final show before they enjoy a well-deserved hiatus, Leigh-Anne said: “I’m just trying to keep it as private as possible for as long as possible.

“It was a decision we made at the time because [the attention] was freaking me out a little bit.”

Luckily, the girl group member didn’t have to go through pregnancy alone, as her bandmate Perrie Edwards gave birth to her son Axel within a week of each other, as the trio giggled about how the atmosphere has changed since the two became parents.

The group now joke that the backstage booze has been replaced by all the furniture needed to support their growing children on tour.

Perrie Edwards said: “It’s all baby bouncers, highchairs, you name it. Life has changed.

“I mean, we were never exactly rockstars before – it wasn’t like you’d walk into bottles of Jack Daniels all over the place with us having it large. But it is a different dynamic.”

It comes as the group look forward to enjoying a much-needed break from recording together in order to allow each of them to pursue more individual projects on their own.

But the trio were keen to emphasise that they will continue to help and support each other throughout their endeavours as much as they can.

The group even revealed how they are planning to manage their solo music releases to make sure that they never clash with each other and launch at the same time.
