Strictly Come Dancing star Giovanni Pernice has left plenty of his fans divided after he made some “bigger than ever” career news.
The 32-year-old is best known for his appearance on the glitzy BBC One show – having first strutted out on the iconic dance floor back in 2015.
Since then, he’s won the hearts of the nation and even bagged the Glitterball trophy in 2021 with Rose Ayling-Ellis.

But it appears Giovanni is now set to take his impeccable dancing skills on the road as he embarks on a nationwide wide.
However, the cost of a one-man Giovanni show has come at a cost – much to the devastation of Strictly fans.
In the post, Giovanni penned: “There you go! Just few more venues to be added… if you don’t see your local venue in the list is because the show is going to be bigger than ever.
“So maybe the stage doesn’t fit our set… (so you can have an idea of how big I want it to be).
“Book now and make sure you get the spot you want.”
Fans were delighted to hear the news, with one gushing: “All booked and can’t wait to see you!”
Another follower added: “Bigger than ever!”
“Sounds like it’s going to be epic,” proclaimed a third smitten fan.
However, some of Giovanni’s followers were left fearing he won’t be returning to Strictly Come Dancing.
“Are you leaving Strictly?” asked one concerned fan.
Echoing their concerns someone else wrote: “Are you coming back to Strictly?”
What’s more, fans that are hoping to see him on the Strictly Live Tour next year will very much be disappointed.
As the Italian hunk has confirmed he won’t be taking part in the live shows.
One fan noticed that Gio’s tour dates cross over with the Strictly tour next year, and took to the comments to ask for an explanation.
“What if you win Strictly? Will you not be going on the Strictly tour?” they mused.
Giovanni saw the comment and replied: “nope!!”
In other Giovani news, he has recently been filming a new BBC series in Italy alongside Strictly judge Anton Du Beke.
The three-part travel series named Anton and Giovanni: Adventures in Sicily will see Giovanni introducing his beloved home of Sicily to his friend.
Giovanni, 32, will be his co-star's guide as the pair discover what the sensational Mediterranean island has to offer – exploring everything from breathtaking sights such as Mount Etna and authentic old towns through to sampling Sicilian cuisine.
