A woman has made headlines after scooping a prestigious Guinness World Record title for eating the most chicken nuggets.
Leah Shutkever, from the UK, smashed through the previous record when she scoffed 19 of the little bits in the allotted time.
Now the chicken fan managed to gobble an impressive total weight of 352g in the space of one minute.
She also beat fellow competitive eater Nela Zissar, who managed an impressive 298g of nuggets in 2020.
And she set a new record for the most nuggets put away in three minutes, a test of endurance as much as speed.
In 2020, she managed to eat 775.1g of nuggets in 180 seconds.
Leah, from the West Midlands, managed to breeze past the previous record of 746g, which had been held by Brit Thomas Welborn.
She set her latest achievement while backstage at the Guinness World Records Italian TV show, Lo Show Dei Records, in Milan.
In recent years, Leah racked up a series of speed-eating records with the current titles below:
- Fastest time to eat three mince pies – 52.21 seconds in 2019
- Fastest time to eat three pickled eggs – 7.80 seconds in 2019
- Fastest time to eat a muffin (no hands) – 21.95 seconds in 2019
- Most marshmallows eaten in one minute (no hands) – 20 marshmallows in 2020
- Most tomatoes eaten in one minute – 8 in 2020
In 2021, the competitive eater also achieved her dream of featuring in the Guinness World Records book.
With her training, passion and determination, she became one of the most prominent competitive eaters in the UK.
During her career, Leah also became a YouTube star and snatched some records from the LA Beast, Kevin Strahle.
