A woman went viral for sticking her hair down with Gorilla Glue instead of hairspray.
Tessica Brown was left in pain as the adhesive in her barnet didn’t budge for 15 washes.
So she took to TikTok for help – and a Beverly Hills surgeon offered to help the 40-year-old for free.
Dr Michael Obeng kindly promised to perform a £9,000 procedure for free.
Using medical-grade glue remover, he hopes to alleviate Tessica’s problem – so the mum has reportedly flown out to Los Angeles to get the treatment done.
According to CBS Los Angeles, Tessica is currently recovering after undergoing the procedure to remove glue from her hair.
Kind strangers have forked out £12,500 on GoFundMe to help with her recovery too.
But despite the support the American woman has received, some have accused her of Gorilla Glue-ing her hair in order to get famous.
Tesicca has denied these claims – and she wishes she’d never gone viral.
She told ET : “I never was going to take this to social media. The reason I took this to social media was because I didn’t know what else to do.
“And I know somebody out there could have told me something. I didn’t think for one second when I got up the next morning it was gonna be everywhere."
Tessica added: “I told my son today, ‘I wish I could just go back,’ because I’m over it. I’m over it.
“I’m usually the person that I don’t care what people say. I just move at my own pace. I don’t care what people say, but it’s just getting to the point where people are on TV saying stuff about me…
“Who in their right mind would say, ‘Oh well, let me just spray this in my head and become famous overnight?’ Never! Who would want them to do that?
“I needed somebody to tell me how to take this off — that’s all it was."
