PREMIER Inn guests hoping to tuck in to a slap up breakfast need to keep a close eye on the clock.
The morning offerings are only available at certain times – and it depends on the day of the week.
What time does Premier Inn stop serving breakfast?
Premier Inns across the country generally start serving breakfast from 5.30am on weekdays.
Food then stops being available at 10am.
On weekends and Bank Holidays, brekkie is on offer from 6am until 10.30am.
And it can work out to be a bit of a bargain as kids eat free.
Up to two children under the age of 16 can get a breakfast on the house when accompanied by a full paying adult.
What's on the Premier Inn breakfast menu?
The hotel chain offers two types of breakfast – the full and the continental.
The full costs £9.50 (£10.50 in London) and lets guests eat as much as they like from the self-service buffet.
This includes cooked offerings such as bacon, sausages, hash browns and eggs, as well as pancakes, smoothies and unlimited Costa coffee.
Those opting for a continental start to day will get a lighter selection of croissants, crumpets, muffins, fruit, cereals and yoghurts for £7.50.
Chilled juices, tea and unlimited Costa coffee are also available.
Both the full and continental selections have vegetarian options, as well as some for vegans and those avoiding dairy.
How do I get Premier Inn's breakfast?
Premier Inn guests can add breakfast at the time of booking, or at the hotel on arrival.
But if you haven't added it and suddenly wish to, customers can simply turn up too.
And most locations let walk-ins who aren't staying the night dine as well.
Simply rock up to the restaurant and staff will find a suitable table and take payment.
Why doesn't Premier Inn serve breakfast after 10.30am?
Premier Inn doesn't offer an explanation as to why it stops serving breakfast at 10am on weekdays and 10.30am on weekends and Bank Holidays.
However, most people tend to be out of bed by that time – plus almost all hotels have a bar and restaurant on-site or just next door.
It means anyone who misses the official hotel brekkie can simply head downstairs or across the car park where meals are served all day.
