Paris Hilton Launches Her First Metaverse Business Paris World

Paris Hilton is trading in the Simple Life for an island in the metaverse. The hotel heiress and reality star has announced that she will open her own business on Roblox dubbed ‘Paris World’. The metaverse destination is just the latest venture launched by her new media company, 11:11 Media.

While many know Hilton as a “famous for being famous” socialite who dominated magazine covers in the 2000’s these days the socialite turned entrepreneur has made a name for herself as a celebrity DJ and party host. The former celebutante commands as much as $1 million a night at clubs in ritzy travel destinations like Dubai and Ibiza.

According to Reuters, Hilton has filled the virtual space with a digital replica of her Beverly Hills, Los Angeles home, as well as a special area based on the carnival-themed wedding she had with her husband, Carter Reum, in 2021.

The 40-year-old aims to use her new media company, 11:11 Media, to capitalize on the burgeoning creator economy. She will be able to profit from the endeavor by collecting money from a handful of purchasable clothes inside of Paris World.

For New Year’s Eve, the heiress treated fans to a celebration in her virtual space where she performed a live DJ set.

“For me, the metaverse is somewhere that you can do everything you can do in real life in the digital world,” Hilton said, “Not everybody gets to experience that, so that’s what we’ve been working together on over the past year — giving them all my inspirations of what I want in that world.”

This isn’t the first time Hilton has tried to launch Paris World. In October she released her first-ever Roblox experience that featured private pink jets, a zoo, a tour of Hilton’s mansion, a massive VIP concert stage, and more.

Unfortunately, it was almost immediately hacked by a group of mischief makers who added offensive flags and music, unblocked all chat capabilities, and released chaos into an experience. The event was a huge embarrassment for the star, as it was meant to represent Paris Hilton as a brand.

The starlet has certainly kept busy. She recently married Reum in an elaborate three-day wedding celebration and has been filming a new reality TV, Paris In Love, with her husband.
