Meow Wolf Denver is kid-tested and approved, but those looking to experience the immersive art exhibit in all its psychedelic glory without tripping over little ones will have a chance to do so this winter when the venue hosts adult-only nights.
From 6 to 10 p.m. on select nights in January and February, Meow Wolf’s so-called “multiverse” at Convergence Station will transform into the “adulti-verse,” meaning entry will be limited to folks 21 years old and up only. And yes, the festivities include libations.
Meow Wolf sells beer from Denver’s Raices Brewing Co. and wine in the Hello Food cafe on the first floor, and additional pop-up bars will be stationed throughout the exhibition on adults-only nights. Unlike regular evenings, patrons will be able to explore Meow Wolf with a beverage in hand.
According to spokesperson Erin Barnes, the venue is currently building a cocktail bar on the second floor, though its open date is to be determined. However, the pop-up bars are expected to serve cocktails during these 21+ special events, she said.
Adulti-Verse dates include Jan. 5, Jan. 26, Feb. 2 and Feb. 23. The dates do not currently coincide with any of the banger concerts on the venue’s calendar.
Tickets cost $45 for general admission, $40 for seniors ages 65 and older, and $40 for military personnel who bring an ID.
