The sun is finally shining and picnics and BBQs are in full swing as a result.

And despite fun events and sunshine being back on the cards, nothing is worse than a warm drink on a hot day.

If you’re nodding in agreement then you’ll be keen to check out Lidl’s brand new wine cooling handbag.

While some coolers can be quite clunky and can be inconvenient to carry around, these bags boast stylish exteriors.

The bag holds 1.5 litres and it even features a very handy hidden tap dispenser so you can keep your glass topped up while lounging on the beach.

The tap is on the outside of the bag and it’s cleverly hidden by a flap which can be secured by a button.

The tote bag also boasts a separate pocket to house any valuable items you might be taking with you, and there’s a compartment to hold your wine.

So, if you fancy getting your hands on one of these snazzy Lidl bags then you can from Thursday June 3 for £19.99, while stocks last.

The wine cooler bag comes in two different colours – a blue and white stripe canvas version or a black and brown PU leather style.

Lidl are pulling out all the stops at the moment to make sure summer gets off to a good start and they’ve also introduced new gin flavours.

The supermaket have lifted our spirits – no pun intended – by adding two brand new flavours to their gin selection, the hugely popular Hortus range.

The first is Hortus Sicilian Lemon & Lime Hortus Gin while the second is Hortus Orange and Passionfruit, Gin and they are already proving popular with customers.

"Citrus got real," Lidl captioned the post shared to their Instagram page announcing that the gins had arrived in stores.

Shopper Matilda commented on the post saying that she’d already bought hers and tried it out in an elderflower cocktail.

“It was lush” she said, sharing that she bought the lemon and lime flavour, which costs £14.99.

Another happy customer replied to the post to give her feedback, saying that she had tried both: “Bought both of these today. The orange and passionfruit one smells utterly out of this world!”
