A young woman was bullied in high school due to her modelling dreams – but now she's had the last laugh.

Lauren Knight, 21, based in Kent, is a business owner and glam Page 3 girl for Daily Star.

The blonde beauty has always wanted to be a model but was bullied by other students because of it. Even her teacher didn’t think she had a chance.

Now the girls who once bullied her want to be her friend.

She exclusively told Daily Star: “I remember being a young girl in secondary school, saying my dream job would be being a model.

“The teacher laughed at me and said don’t give up the day job.

“Fast forward to year 11 and my modelling career has started! The girls in school who used to bully me now want to be my friend and know about me.

“I’m proud of what I’ve achieved, I’ve travelled, been on billboards, been able to work with my fiancé and worked with my favourite brands.”

Sophie has always loved glamour models growing up, especially the likes of Pamela Anderson and the Playboy girls.

The UK-based babe says being a Page 3 model has always been a goal of hers – so she took a chance and reached out to Daily Star.

She received a response immediately and was booked for a test shoot.

“Being a Page 3 model means I get to express myself through modelling, I get to create imagery I’m proud of and can look back at in my older years,” she shared.

“My partner and I model together, so he’s very understanding when it comes to my modelling career. Ryan is my top supporter, He loves grabbing the paper when it comes out to see my new page.

“Other people will always have an opinion on what you do in life, so as long as what your doing isn’t hurting anyone and makes you happy. It doesn’t matter what they think!”

Lauren loves being able to work with like-minded creatives to create photos that she’s proud of.

Having suffered from anxiety from a young age, she says working in a 9 to 5 job that is fast-paced with lots of people can be overwhelming for her.

“Being able to express myself with modelling in environments that are safe and empowering has helped me progress in life majorly,” she shared.

“It also enables me to be able to fulfil my goals in life. I can’t think of any lows in my career, I absolutely love what I do.

“And I’ve been able to start my own businesses on the back of modelling. I own a women’s clothing brand called So Amore and also Pet Boutique that caters for natural treats, toys, bedding and more.”
