Immersive experiences have become all the rage in recent years, with the likes of Secret Cinemas inviting fans into the worlds of their favourite movies. One sub-genre of this new type of attraction involves dining with a theatrical performance around you. Enter The Great Christmas Feast which plans to get its guests into the festive spirit through this fun new medium.

Located in Central London, guests are encouraged (although it’s not compulsory) to dress for a Victorian pub dining experience.
Inside you’ll be sat at a table to enjoy a three-course Dickensian family feast. This begins with Cod and Oyster, followed by House-Smoked Yorkshire Turkey and all the trimmings – plus Twelfth Night Cake to finish. (Vegetarian and vegan options are available too).
Festive cocktails are also on offer, but the food and drink are only one aspect of this new event.
Between courses “Charles Dickens” will arrive and merrily perform a one-man version of A Christmas Carol all around the room. This takes the form of three acts and is accompanied by live-stringed instruments.
Expect a little audience participation, with some guests even being given roles in Scrooge’s redemption story. VIP seating and show-only tickets are also available.
The Great Christmas Feast is on now until January 15 and can be booked here.
