Denise Van Outen has opened up about her wild antics during her time in the spotlight, including partying with the likes of Noel Gallagher and 'flashing Prince Charles'.
The 47 year old, who recently opened up about her split from ex-fiancé Eddie Boxshall, shot to fame as an actress and presenter of Channel 4 show Big Breakfast.
In her new book, titled A Bit Of Me: From Basildon To Broadway And Back, published by Penguin Books, Denise has lifted the lid on her life in the nineties, which was filled with non-stop partying and rocky romances.
The star has admitted that the majority of it is "a bit of a blur", but has also described it as "a long, glorious party".

According to The Sun, she also added: “I have such good memories of those days. Things felt a lot more open and freer in many ways. It’s undoubtedly true that, good or bad, people got away with a lot more as far as partying went.”
During this time, Denise spent much of her time attending glitzy parties and could usually be found at celeb hotspot The Met Bar, at the Metropolitan Hotel in Mayfair. She spent most weekends at the popular venue, where she would party until the early hours with a string of famous faces.
The 47 year old admitted that she'd often book a room at the hotel so that she could stay up late partying with pals instead of returning home.
On one of those nights, an unexpected guest banged on her hotel room door, claiming she had nowhere else to go. It was supermodel Sophie Dahl, who Denise eventually let stay over.
In her book, Denise recalls: “We ended up topping and tailing, and I remember her feet hanging over the end of the bed because she was so tall.”
Other nights, Denise found herself a bit out of her "depth", as she continued the party at Supernova Heights – Noel Gallagher's legendary party house in London. The blonde beauty writes that these parties were "on another level", even thought she was "no stranger to a party."
During this time, Denise was close pals with fellow TV star Jayne Middlemiss, and the duo were invited to Buckingham Palace in 1998 as apart of a group of 'young achievers' in media and entertainment.
However, Denise's Big Breakfast co-host Johnny Vaughan wasn't convinced that she'd been invited to the Palace, so she decided to sneakily take some "souvenirs" from the property to prove she'd been there.
She then revealed on live TV that she'd stolen a toilet roll and an ashtray from the Queen, sparking outrage among viewers and royal fans – she was later made to apologise.
That wasn't the end of the scandal, as it came back to haunt Denise just over a year later when Prince Charles was meeting performers at Party In The Park – an event which Denise was hosting. While she hoped to shake Charles' hand, but after the "souvenir" incident royal security decided Denise was "too unpredictable."
Denise was left less than impressed by the snub, and reacted by flashing the royal.
She recalls: “I marched over to the window of the marquee, and while the Prince was shaking hands with the members of Steps, I called out to him, then pulled up my top and flashed my bra."
It was also in the nineties that Denise ended up dating Jamiroquai front man Jay Kay. While working with GQ magazine in 1998, Denise interviewed the singer at the Silverstone race track.
Writing about their first encounter, Denise recalls: “I’ve always loved an innuendo, and some of mine weren’t exactly subtle. I remember Jay’s jaw falling open in shock at some of the things I said.”
Romance soon blossomed between the pair, but Denise had also caught the eye of Friends star Matthew Perry, who made his feelings known.
Matthew had got her number of her agent after first seeing her on TV, and left her a sweet voicemail message saying: “I think you’re gorgeous, and I’d love to take you out on a date”.
Denise wasted no time playing the voicemail in front her then-boyfriend Jay, leaving him unimpressed. She writes: “Knowing I was being chased by a prominent American TV star was bound to keep my new rock star boyfriend on his toes.”
