Dani Dyer has shared a clever mum hack to make use of your paddling pool, whatever the weather.
The Love Island winner posted the tip to her Instagram story where she filled the pool with a play mat instead of water to create the perfect shady spot for her baby.
Venturing outside to enjoy the sunny weather, Dani made sure Santi had somewhere comfortable but cool to snooze.
Explaining her thinking, the 24-year-old said that she didn’t think the four-month-old was quite ready to be plunged into cold water just yet.
"Got this really cute little swimming pool which shades Santi. I put his playmat in there for comfort as I don't think he's ready for a cold paddling pool yet! This is from Jojo Maman Bebe."
She then gestured to a delighted Santi, saying: "Who's in there? Are you chilling?"
Dani certainly dressed the baby boy for the warmer weather in pinstripe blue and white dungarees with his name embroidered across the chest, accessorised with adorable pom socks.
Santiago is Dani’s first child with her boyfriend, Sammy Kimmence. Since he was born in January, the reality star has invited her fans to follow her motherhood journey on social media.
However, the response hasn’t always been positive, and Dani has said that she has been surprised by how many “mad” mum shaming messages she received.
Addressing the remarks on her Instagram Stories, Dani said: "It's mad the messages I get as a new mum. My child was not in the car in the outfit. He goes on walks with that outfit on. I'm not going to overheat my child, don't worry about it."
Santiago arrived on January 23, with Dani announcing that she and her family were "in a complete baby bubble and enjoying every moment".
At the time, her dad, Danny Dyer, shared his joy at becoming a grandfather on Instagram, saying: "So my baby had a baby. F**k me we needed some joy this year. So proud of you @danidyerxx cannot wait to meet the little beaut".
