Chocolate lovers are excited by the news that Cadbury have finally launched a orange flavoured version of the Twirl bar.
Cadbury fans, from all over the UK, took to Twitter to ask supermarkets where they could get their hands on the 65p limited edition bar.
The firm favourite has been around since 1987 and is created using flake technology to give its texture and ripple like layers inside.
Rumours swirled last month on Twitter that the chocolate bar was going to be available in orange – while the company later confirmed the news, much to the delight of fans.

‘Soooo where do I get this chocolate orange twirl?’ One asked, while another said ‘Chocolate Orange Twirl….absolute game changer that.’
Others pleaded with supermarkets on Twitter to reveal whether they knew if any are in stock. One excited fan tweeted Asda, Sainsburys and Tesco and said: ‘have any of you stocked the orange twirl yet?’
While another said: ‘Morning shop run looking for an orange twirl’. And one even joked: ‘Do you think the orange twirl may contain some vitamin C?’

Fans were confused to whether the new orange flavour was actually a reality or not – taking to Instagram to ask
Just like a flake it has two bars, but the Twirl is covered in an extra layer of chocolate – and a mini version is even part of their selection box called Cadbury Heroes.
When the news, last month, that an orange version of the chocolate bar started to swirl on Twitter fans were confused to whether it was actually a reality or not, with one taking to their Instagram to say: ‘Is the orange twirl a hoax or coming soon?’
Another fan asked, ‘Is it true – the orange one is coming?!?!’
Others said on Twitter: ‘Just saw an ad for an Orange Twirl. Orange chocolate always has me.’
Another added: ‘I love Cadbury’s twirl and I love orange flavoured chocolate so this would be delicious.’
While other simply said: ‘Please be true #twirl #chocolateorange’ and another pleaded: ‘Where can I buy these?’
Fans of the chocolate bar – which is over 30 years old, call the new possible flavour a ‘game changer’
After all the speculation Cadburys teased fans with a video about their Twirls, asking fans what makes a Twirl so twirly.
While a spokesperson from Cadbury revealed some good news for fans, and said: ‘We knew it would be difficult to keep the news of the limited edition Cadbury Twirl Orange under wraps as people would be as excited about the product as we are.
‘We can’t share much more at the moment, but watch this space for more information as we get closer to the launch.’
News that the orange Twirl may be true reached peak excitement, while others weren’t as convinced
The news led to more excitement, with one saying: ‘Game.changer,’ and another claiming ‘That’s the diet out of the window’.
One Twitter user even said: ‘We want to know who was the mastermind behind this genius invention…round of applause indeed.’
While some weren’t as convinced: ‘I’m not sure how I feel about this but I have full faith in cadbury it’s got to be good can’t wait to try it.’
However, one seemed to know more, and took to Instagram, to say: ‘Definitely due soon, by the end of the month (29th apparently, along with the giant white Buttons).’
The orange flavour is currently available in Australia- but if definitely looks like there is demand in the UK too.
