Alton Towers reveals sneak peek images of new CBeebies Land attractions

When you have little ones, it can be tricky to find attractions and days out that suit the whole family.

Thankfully we’re blessed with a wealth of options here in the UK, from Peppa Pig World to Legoland Windsor to CBeebies Land at Alton Towers – the latter of which is about to get three new attractions.

Alton Towers has announced the opening of Hey Duggee Big Adventure Badge, Andy’s Adventures Dinosaur Dig, as well as JoJo & Gran Gran At Home, all of which will be opening this spring.

Although construction is still underway, the Tussauds-owned theme park has shared sneak peek images of what you can expect.

Sensory play areas with slides, climbing, and bouncing make up the Hey Duggee Big Adventure Badge attraction.

Kids can spot their favourite locations from the show, and will get a Duggee hug from the pup himself when collecting their Big Adventure Badge at the end.

Youngsters will also get to let their curiosity run wild in JoJo & Gran Gran At Home. They’ll be able to call Great Gran Gran in Saint Lucia from the sitting room and help bake Gran Gran’s famous banana bread in the kitchen.

Then visit her garden to kick autumn leaves, explore a maze, and find JoJo in a game of hide and seek.

Andy’s Adventures Dinosaur Dig is described as a ‘live interactive show attraction’, with guests getting the chance to visit his outpost and unearth fossils , having them analysed in the fossilator.

They’ll also discover amazing animals, help feed a very special baby dinosaur, and even join in with one of Andy’s raps.

Part of a wider re-imagining of the area targeted to younger children,a CBeebies Bug interactive trail will also be added to the space, providing an exciting entrance portal where they can learn and play.

Other new additions include a brand-new live show with Bing and Flop in Big Fun Showtime, and Bing-themed bedrooms coming to CBeebies Land Hotel at the Resort.

Larry Roles, Marketing Director for Alton Towers Resort, said: ‘We are really excited to grow the fun-packed programme of entertainment and attractions in CBeebies Land, bringing to life even more TV favourites for families to enjoy together.

‘We know that, like our existing line-up, these new additions will provide a truly immersive experience for young fans and really captivate their imaginations. We’re sure both parents and children will love experiencing these fun additions and we cannot wait to see them being enjoyed by our guests.’

Alton Towers Theme Park is open from March until November every year. For more information about the updates to CBeebies Land, visit their website.
