Model, presenter and mum-of-four Abbey Clancy is a busy lady, and she has no plans to slow down just yet. No stranger to fashion collaborations and being in front of the camera, she’s back with a bang for autumn, modelling the latest F&F denim edit with her mini-me daughter Liberty.
Proud of seven-year-old Liberty’s modelling, Abbey says, “She loves shoot days and we have so much fun. She’s such a natural in front of the camera.”
It’s also refreshing to hear that the mum has a desire to make more conscious fashion choices.
“I am trying to be more mindful with my purchases,” she tells us.
She plans to work on building a capsule wardrobe for the season ahead. And with many of us tightening our belts she assures us fashion doesn’t have to cost the earth, adding that you can pick up lots of affordable yet stylish fashion buys for all the family at the supermarket.

Here, Abbey who is married to footballer Peter Crouch- tells us more….
What’s your favourite denim style from the collection?
I’d have to say the Push Up style is my go-to. They are my most comfortable pair of jeans and have become a wardrobe staple. I own every colour! They are super flattering and supportive for every shape. I’m also a really big fan of authentic bootcut jeans. They are so on-trend and I love that I can match my style with Liberty. We’ve created some cute mini-me looks as part of this edit.
What do you feel most confident in – jeans and a top or a dressier look?
I always opt for jeans and a top. I feel super confident in F&F denim. It’s so soft.
What are the key pieces everyone should have in their A/W wardrobe?
I’ve built this edit with pieces that can be styled over and over again. I consider this when I’m shopping as I’m trying to be more mindful with my purchases. You can’t go wrong with a chunky knit. It’s the perfect piece to layer over a shirt. I’m loving stripes at the moment and the cosy black-and-white striped jumper in my edit really does make any outfit look effortlessly put together. If there was ever a piece worth investing in, it would have to be a good coat. I can’t wait to style up the shearling
black aviator. The quality is just unbelievable.
Is there anything you’re seeing at the moment that excites you about the future of fashion?
Recently I’ve really embraced building a capsule wardrobe. I want to love every piece of clothing I own, with high-fashion pieces that I can take through from season to season. I’m really conscious of teaching the kids about shopping more sustainably and F&F makes this easy with its “made mindfully” messaging across all of its denim. It’s important that I work with brands that are mindful of creating clothes that are kinder to the planet.
What were you most excited about when doing this edit?
I absolutely love autumn/winter fashion, so I was really looking forward to bringing an element of my personal style to this collection. My go-to style is mixing supermarket or high-street fashion with designer accessories. Fashion doesn’t have to always cost the earth. It’s always lovely to be able to work with the kids. Liberty loves shoot days, and we have so much fun. She’s such a natural in front of the camera and is starting to develop her own little style. Her favourite piece is definitely the denim pinafore. She’ll be able to wear it through to spring, too, which is perfect. The quality and detailing of the kids’ clothing is so impressive.
What’s most important to you when you’re buying winter clothing for the kids?
I adore F&F’s “love, wear and share” messaging across the kids clothing. It’s important that anything I’m buying for the kids is durable and keeps them warm. The tan aviator is lined with a beautiful cream shearling, so it’s cosy and looks so stylish on Liberty. I’m always picking up bits for Johnny from the boy’s section, too.
What is your advice to someone on a budget trying to style for A/W?
I think classic statement pieces are key. I’m always picking up basic tees when I visit my local F&F – you just can’t beat a multipack. The twill Crombie is made from such a gorgeous material. It feels really luxurious and keeps me cosy. It’s my go-to for a Sunday walk. I genuinely couldn’t live without a good pair of jeans. I’ve always loved neutral tones – they’re so versatile and look super chic. I branched out of my comfort zone to try the ecru jeans and now I’ll never look back. They fit perfectly.
Which favourites do you have in your wardrobethat you pull out every autumn?
I still reach for my F&F jeans, my grey Contour pair. I was excited to be back working with F&F to curate my second denim edit. I love the 90s-inspired double denim look with the authentic bootcut jeans. They’re so comfortable and look great paired with an oversized jumper. My go-to is a thick knit – I have a couple that I’ll never fall out of love with. I enjoyed experimenting with my own personal style to form a versatile edit.
Being a mum-of-four can be full-on. What are your top tips for getting ready quickly?
The kids definitely take priority over everything. I’d say having wardrobe staples makes life 10 times easier – just core pieces that I can throw on. I’m always picking up F&F’s basic multipacks of T-shirts. They’re great value and I know I can pop them
on with any style of denim for an effortless look. My top tip would be to always pick out your outfit the night before. I do this all the time with the kids. We have so much fun picking outfits together and it takes all of the morning stress away. Liberty loves dressing like me, so the mini-me collection is perfect. It’s nice to share this time together when life can be super busy.
If you could send your younger self a message, what would it be?
Don’t compare yourself to others. Everyone is a different shape and size, and that’s normal.
What does your husband Peter [Crouch] like about your style?
Generally, Pete loves my style. He really likes the bootcut jeans from my double denim look.
What does body confidence mean to you?
I think it’s so important to recognise the qualities and strengths that make you feel good about yourself.
