Samuel Ross & Associates in partnership with Beats by Dr. Dre, have launched a new, sleek pair of earbuds that perfectly capture the aesthetic of Ross’ brand while emphasizing Beats’ integration of music.
Ross and his team have taken a two-step approach to iron out the collaboration, with one area focusing on a special zine that centers on the theme of music (specifically themed around Beats), with the second area emphasizing the actual pair of earbuds created in line with the project.
The zine’s cover features Ross seated and dressed in a white hoodie and blue sweatpants, and holding a brown ‘pulp paper’ packaging case. Inside are several photographs that highlight the custom “Powerbeats Pro” – designed by SR_A – showcasing its design from various angles. The earbuds are white with a contrasting black and yellow side decal, red and grey dot motifs, dual ombré grey “SR_A” logo branding, and a silverBeats “b” logo branding at the center.
As this collab sits within a new and different context from what Ross has become known for, it’s a welcome experience for fans as he is dedicating the project to his community.
