Love Island's Olivia Hawkins and Maxwell Samuda become latest couple to split

This year’s Love Island couples are continuing to go their separate ways, with Olivia Hawkins and Maxwell Samuda becoming the latest pair to split.

Despite actress Olivia, 27, previously insisting she and finance student Maxwell, 23, were doing ‘really good’, it’s since been revealed that they’re no longer an item.

It comes just four weeks after they were dumped from the South African villa.

Although it was rumoured they’d already split they only had a proper chat about where their relationship was going yesterday, and they both agreed the writing was on the wall,’ an insider said.

‘They had fun while it lasted, and there are no hard feelings at all, but he obviously went to Mexico, and Olivia has been focusing on work projects.’

The source added to The Sun: ‘They have naturally drifted apart.’

Olivia previously said of the relationship on the Not My Bagg podcast: ‘There’s been rumours that we split up.

‘But no we’re literally fine. We’re really good, cool calm collected he’s a good guy and he treats me nice.’

Olivia and Maxwell’s Love Island co-stars Casey O’Gorman, 26, and Rosie Seabrook, 24, became the first pair to call time on their romance just days after they departed the ITV2 dating show.

Zara Lackenby-Brown and Jordan Odofin also followed suit in sharing news of their break-up on the same day.

While the couple didn’t actually meet in the villa, Zara, 25, expressed an interest in Jordan, 28, after leaving the programme, and the pair connected soon after.

However, after a few weeks of dating, they posted identical statements on both of their social media profiles explaining they are just friends. has contacted Olivia and Maxwell’s rep for comment.
