Loose Women star Nadia Sawalha has been showered in praise for a hilarious, candid clip she’s posted struggling to do up her jeans.

The 58-year-old parodied a video of a model wth her own hilarious recreation, posing on a sofa in her underwear.

The body positivity champion wrote in the caption: ‘Relate? #riotsnotdiets #cheeselover #twixmas.’

The clip began with a model filmed pulling up her jeans and lounging in an armchair, which Nadia then attempted.

But in the Loose Women star’s version, she struggled to do up her jeans before giving up and falling into the armchair.

Fans and friends alike praised Nadia in the comments, with fellow panellist Katie Piper writing: ‘All of us right now.’

Married At First Sight UK’s Chanita Stephenson added: ‘I love these!!!’

‘Thank you Nadia for representing us normal girls,’ one person wrote, while another penned: ‘I just love you so much!!! You’ve no idea how you help people like myself with these posts.’

This isn’t the first time Nadia’s taken a swipe at the modelling industry with a body positive post.

Last week, she posed in her underwear for another hilarious picture, parodying a model opening presents in front of a Christmas tree.

‘Flashback Friday to Christmas Eve eve last year! Me doing a rather damn fine job of being a “Christmas-insta-perfect-model-babe”. Cellulite models own!’ she wrote in the caption.

Nadia previously spoke to Metro.co.uk about how she’s reached this place of self-confidence, treating her followers with hilarious images and videos like these.

‘I think I’m painfully aware of the pressure that we are all under as women,’ she began.

‘I’ve always, in most of my adult life, never really conformed in a way that I’ve been very high maintenance or bought flash clothes or make-up, but I always felt enormous pressure around my looks and around what sort of woman I should or shouldn’t be.

‘Do you have a group of friends who look good on Instagram? Can we produce Instagrammable food photos? It’s just on and on and you’re never going to get to the end of how you should improve yourself.’

Nadia continued: ‘I have huge health anxiety and spent most of my life hiding my body away and would never dream of wearing a bikini and I just got very sick and tired of it.

‘This has been a long process over many years, it’s been really difficult to get where I am and I’m not body confident, I’m just someone who worked out that really unpleasant voices live in my head rent-free and allowed at any point in a 24-hour day period to have a go at me.

‘I am a work-in-progress all the time.

‘I always read every single comment because it helps me stay on the right track because very quickly, I could spiral back into being that self-loathing woman that I don’t want my daughters or anyone else’s daughters to be.

‘So that’s where it comes from – and I have a real laugh!’
