As summer rolls around, parents may consider buying a card and gift for their child's teacher, to thank them for their hard work over the last year.
But if you think your little one's teacher hasn't quite been up to scratch, one company are now offering the chance to buy rather rude cards, featuring messages such as "thank f*** my kid doesn't have you next year".
Yorkshire-based greeting card and gift company Love Layla are selling the quirky cards on their website, with prices starting from £3.75.
And while the designs are proving popular, it seems they haven't gone down well with educators.
Stacey Dennis, who runs Love Layla claims the new range has been met with furious backlash from teachers.
She said: "We've had lots of messages from teachers on social media who think that our products are insulting and rude towards them. We believe they are great fun – as do the parents who have nearly cleaned us out of our stock."
Other cards say things like "Nursery teacher: the only job you find yourself saying don't lick that" and "As my child's teacher, I completely understand why you need so many holidays".
As well as cards, Love Layla have also been selling bottle labels, which can be stuck on a teacher's favourite tipple, reading: "Sorry my child is the reason you drink… so have this on me."
This isn't the first time the company have come under fire for their somewhat crude designs.
Last October parents on Mumsnet branded one of their anniversary cards "vile" as it featured the words "up the bum, no harm done".
However Stacey wasn't too concerned about the fuss back then – and she isn't now.
She added: "We're used to upsetting some people with some of our range which despite sometimes being risque is designed to be a laugh and thoroughly good-natured.
"I would say that all those outstanding, enthusiastic teachers out there have nothing to worry about but those who may be less than top of the class should prepare themselves!
"As our thanks teacher range has proved so popular, we're frantically printing as much as we can before schools out.
"Whatever teachers receive as terms draws to a close, I'm sure six weeks holidays will help them get over it if they've been offended in any way."
And if they are offended, there's always an option to give as good as they get with a "thank f*** I don't have to teach your child next year" card.
