Katy Perry had the grounds of Windsor Castle rocking as she lit up the Coronation Concert.
The US pop superstar, 38, was one of the headliners for the music bash in celebration of King Charles III and Queen Camilla’s Coronation.
She joined the likes of Take That, Lionel Richie, Olly Murs, Nicole Scherzinger, and many more, performing for a 20,000-strong crowd and members of the Royal Family on Sunday evening.
Katy was the penultimate performer, belting out her hits Roar and Firework.
She even got the royals on their feet, singing along, with Princess Charlotte in particular loving the performance as mother Kate swayed along.
The performance was accompanied by an epic light display, with a tiger’s head beaming above the stage.

Katy also dedicated Firework to the King ‘and the work that we get to do together with the British Asian Trust and their Children’s Protection Fund.’
She told the crowd she got to ‘stay in Windsor Castle’ – before joking: ‘No big deal.’
As to be expected, viewers at home were obsessed with her performance, as she went all out with vocals and costumes.
However, people couldn’t help but make one comment…

And it was about her dress.
Now, the singer looked radiant in an elaborate golden gown, certainly fit for a royal occasion.
But the internet couldn’t resist comparing it to a Quality Street Toffee Penny.
‘Very patriotic of Katy Perry to come dressed as the penny toffee out of Quality Street’, one person tweeted.
‘Fab performance from Katy Perry And her outfit gives me Quality Street Toffee Penny vibes’, echoed another.
‘Hey @katyperry, is Toffee Penny your favourite Quality Street by any chance?’, the official Quality Street Twitter account also wrote, joining in with the memes.
‘I thought Katy Perry’s quality street dress was a vibe though’, another wrote.
Fans were full of praise for her performance, though, with many hailing her an ‘underrated vocalist.’
Ahead of the concert, Katy said it was an ‘honour’ to be on the bill.
The California Gurls songstress said: ‘I am excited to be performing at the Coronation Concert, and helping to shine a further light on the British Asian Trust’s Children’s Protection Fund, whose work includes on-ground initiatives to fundraising, with the aim to find solutions to child trafficking.’
She was also in attendance at the actual coronation on Saturday at Westminster Abbey.
Dressed all in pink, the star caught everyone’s eye – and even went viral as she struggled to find her seat… before narrowly avoiding hitting the deck on the way out.
Classic Katy!
The Coronation Concert airs on BBC One and iPlayer.
