Vicky Pattison in floods of tears after her pooch was stolen in dog walkers van

Vicky Pattison has shared an emotional message revealing that her dog Milo was taken when a thief stole her dog walker’s van.

The former Geordie Shore star, 34, took to Instagram to explain the shocking incident, which saw someone steal a van full of animals, including Milo, and then dump the vehicle with the dogs left inside, despite the hot weather.

Thankfully, after the van was found, Milo was returned safely home.

Alongside a series of snaps with her golden retriever, Vicky told her followers: “Today was the scariest day we’ve had since getting milo…

“He was out with his lovely dog walker and as he dropped off one of Milo’s friends, someone stole his van with my baby and some of his friends in the back.. We got the call at this point and I instantly just broke down, sobbing crying and fearing the worst.. I’ve literally never felt fear like it.

“Long story short guys, the van was found abandoned by the police on some estate with the fur babies still in the back thank god. But honestly, that period of not knowing and worrying was just horrific – I felt so helpless and devastated.”

Vicky added: “It’s all a matter with the police now, but if you have any information please get in touch – it happened in the South Woodford area and the police have been great.

“Luckily this ended happily this time but things could have been very different. Milo is a resilient and brave boy and seems fine after his traumatic afternoon but I just can’t spend time thinking about the alternative.

“I don’t understand what type of person steals another persons property, and worse still, when they realise that there are living, breathing animals in the back – abandons them in a hot van in the middle of nowhere not caring what happens to them.

“I’d call them animals but they don’t deserve it – they are Utter scumbags. Should be ashamed of themselves. You make me sick.”

Sharing the thankfully very happy ending, she added: “Milo is now back with his mammy and daddy and being spoilt rotten as he should be and we are just so happy and grateful… Thank you all for your messages of concern.”

Vicky’s friends and followers were quick to comment on the horrifying incident with Shaugna Phillips writing: “Omg the actual fear your must have felt I cannot even imagine, so glad he’s back home where he belongs.”

Georgia Kousoulou added: “Omg vick. I’m so happy he is safe.”

Charlotte Greedy also added: “Vick i feel sick for you, so glad he’s safe give him all the licks from my two xxxx.”

Vicky is a proud dog parent to Milo along with her fiancé Ercan Ramadan.

The star recently opened up on the couple’s upcoming wedding and revealed that she is "so excited" to marry Ercan and that she feels like she is "living a real life fairytale".

Opening up to OK!, she said: "Ercan and I couldn’t be happier. We’re extremely lucky and it really is like living a real life fairytale. We are so excited for our next chapter!"

It comes after Vicky exclusively revealed to OK! that she is planning to get hitched abroad surrounded by family and celeb pals, including, Mario Falcone and Becky Miesner, Ferne McCann and Lorri Haines, Paige Turley and Finn Tapp, Alex and Olivia Bowen, Pete Wicks, Georgia Kousoulou and Tommy Mallet.

Vicky and Ercan are looking to wed in an idyllic getaway, possibly Palma, in Mallorca, Italy’s Lake Como or Cyprus.

"I want everyone to have a really nice time," she told us. "I want the day after our wedding to be a pool party and the day before to be a barbecue on the beach."
