Stevie Wonder is opening up about his upcoming surgery.
During her performance at the 2019 British Summer Time Festival on Saturday (July 6) in London, the 69-year-old music icon revealed that he will be undergoing kidney transplant surgery this fall.
“So what’s going to happen is this – I am going to have a kidney transplant in September of this year,” Stevie shared with the audience. “I’m all good, I’m all good, all good. I have a donor and it’s all good.”
Stevie went on to confirm that he will be perform three more shows before taking a break ahead of the procedure.
“I want you to know, I came here to give you my love and thank you for your love,” Stevie continued. “You ain’t got to hear no rumors, I told you what’s up, I am good.”
