Stacey Solomon excited for kids to go back to school after long summer tidying

With her children returning to school this week, Stacey Solomon has taken to Instagram to say that while she’ll miss them she is “excited” for her kids to go back to school.

The TV presenter, 32, who recently shared behind-the-scenes details of her wedding to Joe Swash, shared a clip to her Instagram story after spending the day at Mrs Hinch’s £1.1 million farm.

In the clip she said: “Home and finally got them all to sleep, back to school in the morning.”

Stacey, who is mum to Zachary, 14, Leighton, 10, Rex, three, and baby Rose, then showed off her huge cup of tea, which was in a pumpkin mug.

“This is the biggest pumpkin cup of tea in the world," she joked, adding: “I love it so much.”

She continued: “I’m going to drink this and then I’ll probably be buzzing, and then I’m going to go to bed.”

Captioning the clip she added: “I’m excited for them to go back. I’ll miss them but I’ll enjoy less washing and a tidy house from 9-3.” Something that many parents will likely be able to relate to.

This isn’t the first time that Stacey has shared the realities of parenting online, previously revealing that she suffered a major “poonami” from daughter Rose.

Stacey posted a photo of Rose giggling while sitting in a sink full of soapy water and wrote: "Good morning, happy Sunday. A poonami [poop emoji] in the morning can only mean one thing! Sink bath [soap and laughing emojis]."

The Loose Women panellist shares much of her life with her 5.3 million Instagram followers, including pictures of her wedding to husband Joe Swash.

The pair tied the knot on July 23 in a beautiful woodland ceremony that took place in the gardens of their £1.2million family home, Pickle Cottage.

Posting to Instagram Stacey shared a gorgeous picture of her and new husband Joe, writing: “Me and My Husband [crying emoji] I don’t think I will ever get used to saying that. It all feels like a dream.

“The most special day that we didn’t ever want to end. We love you all & the special community we’ve built on here so so much and couldn’t wait to share these moments with you.”

A month after the big day she shared another photo, this time with daughter Rose, who had the role of the flower girl in the ceremony.

She wrote: “I cannot even describe the feeling of getting ready for our special day with my daughter.”

Stacey also revealed that Rose’s dress had been made using cut-offs from her own bridal gown.
