Stacey Solomon, 31, has shared a cryptic post about “mean people disguised as friends” as she informed her 4.1 million Instagram followers she would be taking a break from social media yesterday. The Loose Women panellist posted a photo of her adorable puppy Peanut alongside the quote.

Stacey penned: “There will always be mean people out there.

“Some will be obvious some might even be disguised as friends.

“Protect your heart from them all. And no matter how hard they try to bring you down, obviously or indirectly, keep going.

“Keep believing. Don’t get dragged into their unhappiness.”

The mum-of-three, who got engaged to boyfriend Joe Swash, 39, in December, went on to tell fans she would be staying away from Instagram for a few days due to her hectic schedule.

The star usually keeps her huge social media following up to date on her day-to-day life with her three children and fiancé Joe.

Stacey shares her one-year-old son Rex with beau Joe, and is also mum to sons Zachary 12, and Leighton, eight, from previous relationships.

She continued: “It’s a Loose (Women) day tomorrow and then lots of meetings.

“And Saturday there is a big Pokemon tournament, according to Zachy so I’m just going to put my phone in a drawer for a couple of days.

“I hope you have a lovely weekend. Love you lots.”

It comes after Stacey shared an incredible comeback after being branded “ugly and irritating” by a troll on Instagram.

The former X Factor star wrote online: “Rex went down for a surprise nap so I took the opportunity to have a shower to myself and then sit on the bed to dry.

“One of my favourite things to do is dry naturally. Then I thought I’d read your messages while I was drying and this one has cracked me up so much,” she went on to say.

The message read: “I LOOOOOOOVE watching you so much EVERYDAY you really boost my confidence just by looking at your humongous teeth, your ugly faces you make constantly and not forgetting the highly irritating personality you have yourself.

“Imagine being Joe Swash and having to not only see you every day but actually listen to your nonsense everyday.

“I feel bad for the guy but he’s not much to write home about himself!

“Your Just 2 very annoying people that need to get a life and stop doing s**t like dancing whilst cleaning and your stupid craft projects!”(sic)

The message continued: “It makes me feel like so much more of a beautiful person to know there is someone as ugly as you in the world so thanks so much for being you – the unfortunate ugly person you are.”

A short while later, when Stacey was up and dressed, she filmed a special montage of her dancing around her kitchen for the Instagram user.

“Couldn’t resist,” Stacey captioned her post, before adding: “I know how much that person loves these.

“And bringing the happiness to even the meanest souls is important,” she added.
