Piers Morgan, 56, retweeted a message from The Talk’s Sheryl Underwood as the show continued following Sharon Osbourne’s exit last month. In a video reposted by Piers, Sheryl addressed how they will be openly discussing Sharon’s exit in the first episode back.
Posting in front of his 7.9 million followers, the former Good Morning Britain host shared his thoughts.
He captioned the video from the official The Talk account with “What a shameless fraud” as well as posting a vomiting emoji.
The video featured Sheryl saying: “It’s Monday, April 12 and it’s time for an episode of The Talk that will be unlike any other we’ve had before.
“We haven’t been together at the studio since the week of March 10 and as you may know during our break Sharon decided to leave The Talk.
“We need to process the events of that day and what happened since so we can get to the healing.
“Over the next hour we will honestly discuss what occurred and express some of our feelings and we’ll also show you how anyone can become more comfortable with discussing important issues and having difficult conversations.
“And by the end of the hour, we want everyone to feel empowered and be ready to move forward.”
This all follows Sharon’s exit from the chat show last month after she defended Piers.
The former judge on The X Factor spoke out in support of his right to say whatever he wanted in the March 10 show after he made comments about Meghan Markle.
Sheryl said to her at the time: “What would you say to people who may feel that, while you’re standing by your friend, it appears that you gave validation or safe haven to something that he has uttered that is racist, even if you don’t agree?”
Sharon responded: “I feel even like I’m about to be put in the electric chair because I have a friend who many people think is a racist so that makes me a racist.”
Her defence came as Piers claimed not to believe the Duchess of Sussex after she gave a candid interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Piers left Good Morning Britain following backlash over the comments.
Then Sharon was confirmed to have exited The Talk as well following her defence.

In March, CBS made a statement reading: “Sharon Osbourne has decided to leave The Talk.
“The events of the 10 March broadcast were upsetting to everyone involved, including the audience watching at home.
“As part of our review, we concluded that Sharon’s behaviour towards her co-hosts during the 10 March episode did not align with our values for a respectful workplace.
“We also did not find any evidence that CBS executives orchestrated the discussion or blindsided any of the hosts.
“At the same time, we acknowledge the network and studio teams, as well as the showrunners, are accountable for what happened during that broadcast.
“As it was clear the co-hosts were not properly prepared by the staff for a complex and sensitive discussion involving race.
“During this week’s hiatus, we are coordinating workshops, listening sessions and training about equity, inclusion and cultural awareness for the hosts, producers and crew.
“Going forward, we are identifying plans to enhance the producing staff and producing procedures to better serve the hosts, the production and, ultimately, our viewers.”
This is not the first time Piers has spoken out about Sharon’s exit from the chat show.
Writing in a comment for the Mail on Sunday on March 27, he wrote: “Sharon Osbourne’s quit The Talk, driven out for the crime of defending me, a friend she knows isn’t racist, from a co-worker saying I’m racist simply because I disbelieve Meghan Markle.”
