Saira Khan seems to be continuing some ongoing tension between her and her former Loose Women co-stars.

After stepping down from her chair on the popular ITV chat show this month, Saira has reshared a picture on her social media which talks about her "tolerating" people.

Against a navy blue background, the TV presenter shared the quote that read: “You make friends with some people, you tolerate some people, and some people you are just there to do the job with.”

Prior to this, Saira unfollowed Loose Women stars: Jane Moore, Nadia Sawahla and Kaye Adams on social media.

The 50 year old went on to write a detailed message to her 93,000 followers in the caption which explained why she shared the quote.

“I gotta tell you, I’m really proud that I could articulate this feeling,” she wrote. “I think it sums up a lot of my workplace experiences.”

The mum of two continued on to explain that she believes in feminism which makes it difficult for her to tolerate when women in the workplace are undermining other females.

“I’m not for the masses, I’m for a very niche tribe who get me!” said Saira. “I’m very proud of my tribe and I’m very loyal to them. We are strong, fearless, positive, caring women who help others to reach their goals.”

“Integrity is something high up on my values list,” she continued. “As a feminist, one of the hardest things I’ve witnessed in the workplace is seeing other women behave in a manner which goes out to undermine other women, use them and make them feel inadequate – not all women understand the principles of feminism. Being female, does not automatically make you a lover or supporter of your own sex.” [sic]

Saira shares her son Zachariah, 12, and daughter Amara, nine, with her husband Steve Hyde, who she married in 2004.

The former Apprentice star went on to credit Steve and former This Morning host, Eamonn Holmes as men that she believes practice feminism principles more than some other females.

“I’ve known men who support feminist principles than some women, my hubby and Eamonn Holmes to name a few,” she explained. “I have no problem if I lose followers as a result of this post – what’s important to me is telling my truth. Everyone has that option.” [sic]

Despite the bold post, Saira still follows her former panellists Stacey Solomon, Coleen Nolan, Ruth Langsford, Judi Love, Christine Lampard, Carol McGiffin, Denise Welch, Linda Robson, Brenda Edwards, Kelle Bryan and Andrea McLean, who also quit the show recently.
