Ronan Keatings daughter Missy, 21, ditches home comforts for bar job and backpacking in Australia

Missy Keating is working shifts at Australia's Little Jack Horner Cafe while she looks to kick off her acting career overseas.

The 21 year old bid goodbye to her family, including Boyzone singer dad Ronan Keating, just a couple of weeks ago, and it's not taken long for her to settle down in Coogee Beach where the popular bar/restaurant is based.

Little Jack's is known as a firm favourite amongst English and Irish backpackers, who flock there for great cocktails and grub.

It seems Missy's famous family knows no bounds, with brother Jack making a name for himself during this year's series of Love Island.

Back in May, 'Life is a Rollercoaster' hitmaker Ronan, 45, weighed in on whether he'd tune in if Missy decided to join the next edition of Love Island.

"I haven't heard anything [about her going into the villa], but you never know, I mean these kids are busy, all my kids are busy doing different things. I haven’t heard anything myself at the moment.”

Good Morning Britain co-presenter Kate Garraway followed that up with: "How would you feel, as I’m sure you love Love Island, but I wonder if it’s different watching as a dad with a daughter on it?"

After pausing, he erupted the studio with laughter by replying "pass" and then admitting he "wouldn't be able to watch".

Days ago Ronan spoke about Christmas without Missy this year as she will be in Oz, telling the same ITV programme that it's going to be a "sad" one this year.

"She's going to have a friends Christmas in Sydney. We won't be with her for Christmas, we're at home here. So look, we're going to miss her terribly," he said.

"We've got the little ones, Jack, Ali, all the rest of the kids are with us – Storm [his wife of seven years] and I – but yeah, it is what it is."

Prior to his second-eldest's departure Down Under, Ronan shared a video from the family's final night at home, where they ate a meal together.

“My Baby girl is off to Oz," began his caption. "So excited for her but my heart is broken. She will be so missed. Last supper she requested Wagyu. Only the best for Moo.”

Her mum Storm's farewell message also read: “When you let them go. So many tears but so excited for you Moo Missy Keating.

“You are the most amazing young woman and so ready now to take on the world."
