A new version of Papa Roach‘s classic 2000 hit “Last Resort” has jumped to No. 1 on Billboard‘s Hot Hard Rock Songs chart.
“Last Resort (Reloaded),” featuring TikTok star Jeris Johnson, soared 19 to 1 on the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart dated February 13.
The new version of “Last Resort,” which was released in celebration of the original’s 20th anniversary, earned 1.3 million U.S. streams and sold 2,000 downloads in the week ended February 4, according to MRC Data.
“Last Resort (Reloaded)” also rose to No. 1 on Billboard‘s Hard Rock Digital Song Sales, earning Papa Roach their first No. 1 on the tally, which began in 2011.
Billboard noted the original version of “Last Resort” led the Alternative Airplay chart for seven weeks beginning in August 2000.
