Love Island's Michael Griffin has performed one of the biggest U-turns in series five so far by claiming he wants ex Amber Gill back.
In tonight's episode, the firefighter pulls Amber to one side and says: "I'm just letting you know that I do still like you," after cruelly pieing her off for new girl Joanna Chimonides.
While Amber's exact feelings on the change of heart are yet to be revealed, her best friend on the outside is furious with Michael's meddling.
Mark Tweedy, who is running Amber's Instagram account while she's in the villa, has not been holding back with his opinions on 'snake' Michael.
Taking to her Instagram story, Mark wrote: "Michael: Now Joanna's gone it's given me a chance to see clearly…
He then shared a hilarious meme of EastEnders' Vanessa Gold throwing a furious tantrum.
Mark shared another defiant post to Twitter that summed up the last few days in spectacularly sarcastic fashion.
"Amber has a successful date with Greg. Greg is amazing. Michael sees Amber happy. Michael suddenly wants Amber back," wrote Mark in the caption.
Mark's dislike of the Scouse firefighter vastly differs to the approach Amber's villa pals have taken on the situation.
Amber Vakili and Maura Higgins have both encouraged Amber to continue to pursue Michael – even when he's made it particularly clear he's not that interested.
Fans of the show have taken to social media to voice their disgust at their egging Amber on.
"Hope to f**king GOD Anna etc. don’t encourage Amber to get back with Michael, that is TOXIC" one fired.
Another wrote: "The girls need to be honest with Amber. The same way they were with Amy. Stop encouraging her to chase a guy that isn’t interested or worth her time."
"What even is Anna and Maura thinking by encouraging Amber to go back to Micheal and his chaldish ass???" joked a third.
